At Steven Scott Management, Inc. we LOVE our two legged and four legged renters!
Moving into a new place can be difficult on your pets. Here are ways we can help you and your furry-friends get used to living in their new home.
Just because you don’t have a backyard doesn’t mean your pet won’t be happy in your new home. Recently Steven Scott Management Inc. marketing coordinator, Chrissy Sykora spoke to SidewalkDog.com about living with pets in our rental communities:
“Many properties are close in proximity to dog parks, and many offer dog runs. Pet washes, grooming stations, treats in the rental office, and dog walkers are great perks too.”
Sykor also has some great advice on how to ease the transition for dogs in a new apartment:
“A transition from a house to an apartment/condo with long halls is a tough one for dogs. If your dog is used to running right out the door to relieve himself, you may want to train him to walk a ways before doing this. First, practice walking out of a house to the garage, walk a bit in the garage, and then outside. Little dogs can also be carried to help them during this time.”
Another service we offer at our rental communities to ease the transition for you and your pet is Poo Prints, a dog poop DNA service. They provide bags and clean-up stations and most properties see a 100% decline in dog waste once the service is started.
These days more and more pets are living in apartments. In fact, 61% of the our rental communities accept dogs and 91% accept cats.
