City Spotlight – Brooklyn Park

The Metro Area is home to many incredible cities—each with a unique personality and a variety of things to do.  Brooklyn Park is best known for its beautiful parks (of which there are many!) and wonderful schools.

Since Brooklyn Park is located right on the West bank of the Mississippi river, it offers some fantastic views. It’s sprawling with parks (over 60!) and outdoor activities for both Winter and Summer including Rush Creek Regional Trail as well as Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park. Activities are vast and include: kayaking, archery, disc golf, geocaching, hockey, pickle ball and MORE! It’s a great place to get outside, be active and enjoy the outdoors.

Brooklyn Park is also becoming a go-to spot for high quality and delicious meals.  Some of the top-ranked restaurants include: MT Noodles, Girvan Grille, Roasted Pear, Sweet Taste of Italy, Sweet Basil, Fiesta Cancun and Lemon Grass Thai Cuisine. One can also kick back with a local brew from Blue Wolf Brewing Company which offers board games, food trucks and live music.

Next time you’re looking for something to do, check out Brooklyn Park. Go for a walk along the river trails, taste its grand array of cuisines and top it off with a beer and a concert. There are currently three Steven Scott properties located in Brooklyn Park: Moonraker Apartments, Point of America Apartments, and Ridgebrook Apartments.
